magickal patterning is a very interesting topic and in typical form Telesco handles the information with amazing insight and a down-to-earth attitude that runs thru all her books. She teaches us about the basic differences between mazes, mandalas and labryinths then goes on to show you how to effectively use these patterns, personalize them, and apply them to many processes. My only complaint is that I think the book was ill-titled and does not do the material justice.

I enjoyed this book and the author's obvious enthusiasm for the topic, but think that newcomers to labyrinths and mazes will be confused by the muddled lack of distinction between the two quite different energetic patterns. It didn't feel this was always the author's fault so much as sloppy editing - but if you do know what a labyrinth and maze is, and how they differ, you'll find plenty in here to work on. If not, you may be left even more confused. Excellent about mandalas though.
