Necessary first introduction to Lacan,
By Felix Guerenabarrena "Felix Gerenabarrena" (ondarroa, bizkaia Euzkadi) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Lacan: The Absolute Master (Paperback)
This is an extraordinary book if you are attempting to understand Lacan without a previous education in Lacanian psychoanalysis. It is also very useful for those who want to approach psychoanalysis from a phylosophical perspective.
Here you will find the connections of the lacanian theory with Hegel's theory of the spirit. It is also very well explained the lacanian interpretation of Heidegger's being-to-death. Mikkel Borch explains the lacanian system from it's very beginnings, from the thoey of paranoia and the family complexes. Still, if you are already into the lacanian thing, you can find this book as introductory.
