Book Description

July 1, 2003 Greetings Cards series
Melanie Hendricks shows how to make inspirational cards for all occasions using this new technique - its name Lacé meaning to interlaced in French. The technique involves making a pattern of cuts using templates. The loose edges are then folded over and tucked under each other using a folding tool to create a distinctive interlacing effect, enhanced by using duo-colour papers. In a series of step-by-step projects Melanie decorates lacé cards using rubber stamps, coloured papers, beads, punch cuts and more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lace--great way to embellish, December 25, 2008
This review is from: Lace Greetings Cards (Greetings Cards series) (Paperback)
I would highly recommend this book. I have never tried lace' as an embellishment , but this technique would really add to the appearance of a card. I can't wait to try all of the new cards shown in this book. Well done.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lace Greetings Cards (Greetings Cards series) (Paperback)
I purchased this excellent book on making Lace' cards through Amazon.com. Offers many ideas for how to use the templates. Templates are difficult to find, however. I found a few at a stamping show.
