Great!, March 23, 2010
This review is from: Laced with Desire (Paperback)
Im not usually a fan of short stories but this is the second one with two of my faves Jasmine Hays and Joey Hill and they do not disappoint. I love that the stories all have the reoccurring theme with corsets.
The first story is nice. A good start. Ella and Clay are a nice couple if not a bit predictable. For some reason it bothered me that I knew up front how the story was going to end and that I was just going to read the hurdles to get to the HEA. It also had a nice bit of steam.
Jasmine Haynes story was just awesome. She does such a wonderful job of making her characters real. I feel like I know them. You experience what they do. Mz Haynes puts so much sizzle in her romance I was totally engrossed and felt like I had the whole story but the end.
Joey Hill. I dont even know what to say. This story was so gripping and erotic and...gosh I dont even know what. Powerful. The physical and emotional challenges this couple faced went through my heart. This story is worth the price of the book. It is the most well rounded and full short story... I'm not sure you can call it that. I wanted to read it again just so I could stay with these characters. You need a cigarette after this one.
The last one, I wont lie, I didnt finish it. It seemed interesting but I got distracted and never went back.

Superlative Anthology that will have you fanning yourself..., June 28, 2011
Four incredible tales of love and romance, by four fabulously talented authors, gleefully spiced with erotica and guaranteed to get blood pumping!
Four stories, all so different yet enticingly similar in impact. A wondrous collection, that delights in one of the sexiest, most feminine, and beguiling of lingerie, the corset...
Irresistibly fascinating, wickedly entertaining, each tale is a treasure-trove in itself, and kept me engrossed to the end!
A "not to be missed" book, that is a definite 'keeper' on my shelves.
Titivating and tempting enough, -that I simply had find one again for myself, and began furtively searching the world wide web, for merchants specializing in the almost, "lost art" of corsetry...
Imagine my delight, at finding such an Aladdin's Cave of tempting wares in England, with an outlet in California. I purchased four exquisite examples, to my husbands' endless and heated appreciation...
I'll always be grateful to Joey W. Hill and her fabulous Knights of the Boardroom series, not just for her extraordinary talent, and another most divine and saucy installment, but also, for leading me the Denise Rossetti and her magnificent tales.
Both are masters of their craft, with a superlative skill that surpasses the many, yet is reserved for only the few.
