This book has some amazing lace doilies, many in the style of Irish crochet. Be forewarned, however, that all are worked from a chart. There are written instructions, but they explain the chart; there is no written pattern. I've never worked from a chart so initially I was a little hesitant, but the charts and the instructions do make sense. In addition to the doilies there are a couple larger table toppers, a small handbag, some sachets and a couple pieces to frame as artwork. Majority of the patterns are doilies though. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a challenge and some very unique pieces.
