...and judging from some of the comments here, I guess the other reviewers do not actually own this wig.

It is surprisingly more high-quality than the image indicates. (The model in the photo is not helping matters by squeezing the tails out of shape.) No, that is not red paint at the base of the tails. They are red bows. Not exactly Usagi-style, but they...

It's hard to tell the quality of this wig, but it looks OK for a beginner cosplayer or a costumer who can't afford to obtain the more costly custom versions from online wig stylists. This wig would certainly work in a pinch! By the way, most cosplayers make their own accessories and frankly do NOT want things like odango sheilds permanently attached to their wigs. (I...

It is surprisingly more high-quality than the image indicates. (The model in the photo is not helping matters by squeezing the tails out of shape.) No, that is not red paint at the base of the tails. They are red bows. Not exactly Usagi-style, but they can be easily removed and replaced with matching "meatballs", which would be simple enough to create. The tails can also be twisted more tightly to eliminate the puffiness. I would have preferred a softer yellow, but sometimes we have to just take what we can get. I've owned longer and lighter-hued SM wigs that were just dreadful-looking. The wig offered here is quite comparable to custom-made versions I've seen for sale online that are triple the price (same color too.) One major plus is that if you need a Sailor Moon wig quickly, this is your best bet. Custom wigs can often take weeks and months. As mentioned previously, this one looks extremely similar to ones I've seen elsewhere that are supposedly "custom-made".

It may not be perfect, but it does have potential! Definitely not as bad as everyone seems to think it is!

This wig would certainly work in a pinch! By the way, most cosplayers make their own accessories and frankly do NOT want things like odango sheilds permanently attached to their wigs. (I happen to make odango for Sailor Moon wigs so I'm speaking from firsthand experience.) That way, they have the option of dressing as Sailor Moon or the schoolgirl Usagi.

I could just dye my hair blonde and put it in pigtails to make it look like this wig! Look - it has red paint on it for the odangos! Like we're going to fall for that!

Hey kids! Let's pay 60 bucks for something that can be obtained by dying your hair and putting meatballs in it! ;)
