Completed the regimen early 2010, still going strong (1/17,2011), with little to NO condition after eating any dairy products.
i was considered one of the medium to sever cases of being lactose intolerant. can't even have a single slice of cheese without being bloated, cramping, diarrheal etc.. etc.. (or 1 quarter of a glass of milk without having to run to the restroom in 2 hours).
I'm Asian, lived the past 30 years lactose intolerant, gave Lactagen a try because my cousin recommended it through a friend of his. Testimonies/Reviews from other sites/forums didn't quite give Lactagen justice, however, still promising due to results of the few who did benefit from this regimen. i was skeptic at the beginning, now i'm a believer and have recommend Lactagen to at least 4 other friends. and even after being a living proof to my friends that i am currently tolerable to dairy, they still do not believe this product works, because the general public has this misconception and have never heard of Lactagen and its potential treatment. i've asked 3 different doctors and all do not believe that there are any true cure for the case, however, i'm am living proof. Clinical trials approved, i can't wait until this product becomes FDA approved.

I took Lactagen in the summer of 2009 for my severe lactose intolerance. Lactagen seemed like the perfect cure. I was pretty much symptomless starting after the end of the 35 day period. Over the years, I would have sporadic bouts of diarrhea but I attributed that to traveling to developing countries and the new food there. I love milkshakes and cheese. Recently since spring 2011, drinking milkshakes would cause extreme diarrhea which made me understandably unhappy. I started to wean out milkshakes from my diet. In August 2011, I went to another developing country on vacation and experienced extreme diarrhea symptoms, the worst ever. Once I returned to the states, I continued to have stomach issues - bloating, diarrhea, stomach cramps. These symptoms seem to be especially aggravated by dairy. I assume when I was away in August, I was not drinking enough dairy as I usually did in the U.S. (pizza, milk with cereal, milkshakes) and eating alot cheesy food all of a sudden sparked symptoms because my stomach no longer had the lactase digesting enzymes. So, it was a good 2 year run with me and dairy, but now again I have severe lactose interolance symptoms and cannot even eat a small bit of cheese or pizza. Back to boring soy milk and no more pizza (unless I use the Lactaid pills).

I gave this product to a friend, because he had been suffering for years. He took this product back in 2006 and is still symptom free today!

I highly recommend this product.

I must admit that when I started using Lactagen I didn't expect much to really happen. I had been able to digest dairy for years, then out of the blue I could no longer correctly digest it. This went on for about a year, So I did some research and discovered it was lactose intolerance. It was the worst, I discovered everything I liked had dairy in it, and every time I ate dairy I felt like I was going to die (it was so painful). Well, I ordered and tried Lactagen. While I was within the 32 or was it 34? days I still reacted to dairy. I suspected that it wasn't going to work because even up until the last week I seemed to still react. The last 3 days concerned me because of the amounts of milk you are to drink, However they were not a problem at all, It worked.. I was quite cautious starting to eat dairy again, and the digestion in the following few weeks to month were a bit different (nothing bad). Long story short, it worked excellent!! I recommend it to any lactose intolerant people I know. I am now back to digesting as much dairy as I want to eat!!

I was hesitant to try lactagen when I first heard it but was tempted by the claim of curing lactose intolerance. I bought it and it sat in my cupboard for 3 months until the head doctor at cornell university said his son took it and it worked so I gave it a shot. 5 (maybe even 6) years later, I no longer need to take a lactose pill to enjoy dairy (and then still suffered). The only thing that may occasionally still bother me a LITTLE is milk so I use lactaid when available but even that it is not necessary. I've recommended this to many people and will continue to do so.

I was very skeptical when buying this product, but it was highly recommended by my manager, who worked in the nutritional supplement industry. I followed the directions strictly and avoided all dairy while taking Lactagen. After the 35 days, I was cured! I had really bad lactose intolerance for 6+ years after I turned 20. It was so bad that any dairy, even in a cookie, made me have stomach cramps for days. It's been almost 6 years and I am still happy to eat any dairy. The product was a true miracle for me and I really hope it can help others as well.

I took lactagen back in 2005. A severe case, I questioned them about every aspect of the treatment. Noway would it be worth it if I again had to have my tummy "cleaned out"/"ripped apart" afterward. Well it has been nine years. It works!

Key thing to understand: maintenance. I eat some yogurt (w/ active cultures) every day. And more if I get sick and need antibiotics.

I don't push it: mostly drink soy milk. But I eat pizza, ice cream and more and have not taken a lactase pill in nine years. Hooray!

I used Lactagen as prescribed and it did work for almost six months and six days. I found it painful to use for the first month as my body adjusted to it. I paid double the amount that I usually pay for daily relief but also experienced cramping and pain and the first 30 days even though you not allowed to eat lactose rich foods except for milk. Unfortunately it did not work for me and I did not get back the "100% Money Back Guarantee." I was disappointed, the company only followed up with me up to the point of the "100% Money Back Guarantee" obligated expiration date (6 months from the order date).
