I have been severely allergic to dairy products for years and if I even have a tiny amount - my sinus's swell up so badly for 24 hours that I am just about incapacitated. Very painful and puts me in bed for the day. I thought I'd try this product and have found it FANTASTIC. I have had no headaches at all and it's like a miracle cure. Brilliant. I do find that I take 2 pills if I am eating a lot of dairy and going over a 10 minute period. This seems to knock out any other effects.

Great value, always keep a supply on hand and works as advertised. Good price, beats all other similar products! Excellent item to carry along everywhere you go if you're lactose intolerant. I take one if eating cheese. I take two if eating ice cream. One at the beginning and one in the middle.

A must-have, no matter how slight or severe your intolerance is. Mine tops the chart, and I understand that it gets worse as one gets older, which accounts for my increased need. ¶I take well more than the usual dose, and hope that you won't have to, but no matter the dose you do take, Lactaid doesn't seem to affect any other body parts, but does do "one heck of a job, Brownie" in eliminating painful internal gas. (Sorry about that; couldn't resist.) ¶I have tried the only other brand of which I am aware, which doesn't work nearly as well, negating the fact that it is less expensive than Lactaid. ¶The most recent package I bought of this other brand had been made by yet another pharmaceutical house, where they put yeast (or something which converts to yeast when exposed to saliva,) in it. ¶My mouth smelled like a bakery, and so did the brownie part. After trading one gas problem for another, I will be returning it. ¶Take Lactaid and relax, and should you need them, the Lactaid medical support staff is terrific. (I think such support is about the only thing Amazon doesn't offer!)
