I've had lactose intolerance for years, but haven't had a problem with dairy in ages because of Lactaid Fast Act. It works more quickly than similar products, and it really DOES work. I've tried store brands, and they did work - but often I had to take 2 tablets instead of one to avoid problems.

A couple important things to know - this isn't a drug at all, it's an enzyme, so it will not affect the average user in any way but their digestion of milk, cheese, ice cream, etc. Also, take the Lactaid before your first bit or drink of a dairy product, not after you've had it.

If you have problems eating dairy, and don't want to give it up, this product is definitely the way to go.

For about a year, I bought my LACTAID Fast Act from Costco, which offered it without tax (as it should be in Illinois,) or ship/hdlg. About two months ago they discontinued it in favor of their house brand, a brand which doesn't inspire the same level of confidence in me. ¶ So, on a whim I tried AMAZON, and lo and behold, AMAZON has it. I think they have outpriced the entire world by now. ¶ Due to health conditions which obviously include lactose intolerance, I consume a lot of this; perhaps 90 caplets lasts me three weeks, so this is an expensive purchase for me. The AMAZON price was better than the one I could have gotten even had I ordered directly from the Lactaid people. ¶ The shipment arrived a day sooner than I expected, which seems to be AMAZON's norm. My only gripe is that there is a 270-caplet 'bonus'-[bonus] size which is not covered by "Amazon Prime." ¶ None-the-less, my heroes are the folks at AMAZON ! There isn't one department that has failed me yet. Atta boy, Jeff B. and persons unknown...

I can eat dairy again!

I got tired of only consuming soy based protein shakes and cheeses. I take 2 pills and I am able to consume a whey protein shake with hardly any heart burn/indigestion. This makes my life so much easier. I am glad that I tried this stuff. I'm excited to eat pizza again!

I bought these brand name Lactaid tablets when the store was out of generic. They work very well for lactose intolerance. I usually take two caplets when I eat something that is full dairy (like ice cream or cheese) and one caplet when I eat something that contains some dairy. No more worries!

I still prefer generic for the price. Just check the lactase units on the back of the box to be sure it's the same. Some have more lactase enzyme per tablet than others. This particular product has 9000 FCC Lactase Units per caplet.

Thank goodness for this product. Over the past couple of years I seem to have developed an intolerance to dairy. Stomach cramps and terrible gas have been greatly reduced. Now I won't enjoy dairy withouth this little pill. My co-workers are glad I got it as well.

When I started taking Lactaid, I'd thought that it would let me eat dairy products without having any symptoms a 100% of the time. Unfortunately it is not true. Sometimes I still suffer from lactosis intolerance. I learnt that some times I have to take more than 1 caplet and also that some times I can take only half a caplet, depending on the amount of milk, butter or cheese. In spite of that, Lactaid allowed me to have an almost normal life again.

This product definitely improved my ability to digest diarrhea. No more stomach aches, bloating or discomfort. Would definitely recommend trying this if you have trouble with dairy but don't want to give up ice cream yet.

Was skeptical as to whether or not these would actually work, but decided to give them a shot.

My wife has always had a hard time with milk (stomach aches) and my 5 year old has had the same thing since birth. Neither would eat cereal or anything cause of it and daughter had to have soy milk as a baby. Ordered these and no my daughter asks for cereal for dinner. Last night she had 3 bowls and no problems. Easy for her to swallow and works great.

Wife says the best thing about them is they are INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED. She throws a couple in her purse just in case she may ever need them.
Lactaid worked great. Next time we will be ordering the larger box.

I purchased this large package of Lactaid so I could continue to eat my favorite foods such as ice cream and yogurt. Lactaid is easy to use, just take one before eating anything with dairy in it. Packaging is great, can fit in pocket or purse to take with you.

My intolerance to lactose is almost like an allergy, I can't have any amount of dairy, without feeling any pain. I tried other lactase in the past, but it didn't really work. Depending on what I eat and the level of the dairy, 1 or 2 tablet suffice.
