This book is a humble attempt, very humble attempt, for a gospel singer to pen her first book. It has to be her first book, because it is so cursory in it's attempt to explain what depression is, and how to deal with it. A lot of confusion between preaching the Gospel and a clinical approach to explaining what depression is, and how it can knock a person off their feet in terms of their social and emotional life. If you want to know the real scoop on depression survival, look elsewhere. Your money would be better spent on other books in the field of recovery from depression.
