This short's been done dozens of times before as a movie, a play, o short story, a novel, fan fiction, and porn. The biggest problems with this are not that it's all trope and no originality, though. The biggest problems are the acting, storytelling, and cinematography. This should not be sold. This is the kind of thing you put on DVD extras with a disclaimer when you've released a good movie. The camera is jerky. The lighting is terrible. The mic must have been hidden in someone's pants. The 'plot' gets moved along via phone call at the start (as in the trailer) not once but twice. There's maybe one good shot of the characters. The best you can say is that Billy Ray Gallion is pretty. If you're a 'Lost' completist, you might want to watch. Otherwise, skip it.
