Supernatural Drama,
By The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers (RAWSISTAZ.com and BlackBookReviews.net) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lady J (Drama High) (Paperback)
In book number five of the Drama High Series, the past characters return for some more drama at South Bay High School including Jayd Jackson, who finds herself the center of much of it. Her relationship with Jeremy is now over, and she is trying to focus on her skills in theatre and on her current man, Rah. She realizes she must overcome competition in both areas to have what she wants. On her job, Jayd faces a new supervisor who has a problem with her working there, and is trying to mess with her cash flow. At home, Jayd's indoctrination into her legacy leads her to uncover a bad relationship between her family and another conjurer woman living next door. Trouble abounds at school and home when Jayd decides to use her powers to try and help lessen some of the drama.DRAMA HIGH: Lady J by L. Divine continues to give readers a front seat view to the drama teenagers face in high school. The spice of supernatural powers adds to the allure. Although an interesting play on the teenage years, I found myself doubting that teenagers related to one another in the fashion presented. I also found that each series more or less builds on the previous book. Therefore, it will be necessary to read all the books in the series. Reviewed by Brenda Lisbon of The RAWSISTAZ(tm) Reviewers

MIZZ LADY J,
This review is from: Lady J (Drama High) (Paperback)
Will Jayd become the women she was meant to be? In the teen Drama High series L.Divine brings you vol.5, Drama High: Lady J. Where" it takes a woman to know when to take control...". The series continues where it left off in vol.4, Drama High: Frenemies. From the past books all there was were drama. Well in this book expect it continuing on. With her relationship over with ex boyfriend Jeremy, Jayd realizes drama is just a never ending part of her life. First, fighting with her new boss, the so call "haters" at school, Rah trying to get Jayd to be his lady again, and tensions at home. But it seems to get worse, when Misty, Jayd number one enemy and girlfriend of Jayd's other ex, KJ, mom visiting Jayd next door neighbor. Next door neighbor being Esmeralda, conjurer from Louisiana with crystal-clear blue eyes that are guaranteed to be deadly, especially towards Jayd. Jayd grandmother known to us regular readers of drama high as "Mama" has a past with Esmeralda and to this day they are enemies. Not only will Jayd find out that information but will also find that there is history between Misty family and Esmeralda family as well. So for South Bay High better known as Drama High, bold, beautiful Jayd, Jackson, drama has reached record-breaking heights as she finds herself on the defensive at home, work, and of course school. Maybe it's time to take her destiny and her power into her own hands.Jayd Jackson a young afican-american female at the age of sixteen years old, junior at high school and lives in the state California with her grandparents and uncles. High school name -South Bay High where Jayd and I would call it "Drama High". I would recommend young women around the age 15-19 to read this book of any race. Jayd Jackson is the main character of all the Drama High series. The book continues from where it left off from the last book. So I recommend you read vol. 1 "Drama High: The Fight" and next volumes until you are at vol.5 before you go all the way into vol.5. All Drama High series are written by L.Divine. Published by DAFINA BOOKS. Copyright © 2008 by L.Divine. Vol.5 includes 192 pages but L.Divine always gives you a treat at each book at the end. The treat she gives you is the prologue and chapter one of the next book. So with that it is 208 pages. Another author that is similar to L.Divine is Cassandra Carter.

I think this book was good. Now that Jayd and Jeremy broke up they broke up Rah has tried to get with her although he cant really break up with his girlfriend to get with his perfect match (to me). Then Mickey is now all into food eat huge lunches alot of snacks and everything. To me the funny part is that when he throws her lover (I won't tell who he is if you didn't read it) phone out the car on the highway then he grabed her phone and put it under his tire and ran over it not once but twice I was laughing that was so funny. Then Misty and her crew thinking dat Jayd a witch and stuff, but I dont want to give out to much so let me just shut up oh kay so just read the book. If you want to talk to me you can always e-mail me at Skittlez721995@yahoo.com THANKS FOR READING!!!
