My wife uses these.

Three features of this lady's set of clubs stand out.

(A) It offers a 460cc TITANIUM #1 Driver Most sets do not come with the TITANIUM Driver.

(B) 5 Fairway WOODS with Stainless Steel Heads 3, 5, 7, 9, 11

Stainless Steel is the next best thing to TITANIUM. It is certainly better than Aluminum.

(C) 5 HYBRID Irons 7, 8, 9, plus the Pitching Wedge & Sand Wedge

There are no regular Irons in the set, in keeping with the

modern trend toward Hybrid clubs. Irons, as they were used traditionally in golf,

are slowly being phased out in many sets as the shift toward the slightly larger headed Hybrid continues.

(By the way, I have found Fairway's individual Hybrid clubs at about seventy each, as a separate purchase.

There are covers for each and every club, and it features a "Mallet" style putter also.

The Shafts are all Graphite by Apollo, so all of the clubs are feather light.

Also, the shafts

are colored a "Pearlish" variant of white, so that they are rather Opalescent.

The bag and Headcovers feature a tan or buff color scheme, which looks nice against the greens of the golf course or driving range.

This is one of the better bargains available for beginner golf sets. It is not easy to find anything more than a set of Irons for this price, and Irons with Graphite shafts cannot usually be had for this price.

That the set includes so many Hybrids is an option which offers "forgiving" club play for the buyer.

My wife rather fell in love with these, as it is the first time she has ever obtained an entire set of "new" clubs.

Until now, she has struggled along with the Used clubs that I have "cobbled" together second hand, repairing and re-shafting and re-gripping, etc.

I never imagined that Golf would be so fascinating. In the same sense that Francis Ouimet indicates in the book and movie, "The Greatest Game Ever Played," that he has to play, "his--own--game"; we also got into golf to play

"Our--Own--Game". The rewards in self-esteem and self-confidence are amazing. One of the really nice features about Golf, is that the chance of physical injury is far less than sports requiring more violent expenditures of energy.

We had been carefully studying all of the club sets in the golf shops for a month and a half, before making this choice. The featherweight lightness of the club is important, because one learns from studying the mechanics of golf, that it is the Velocity of the Club Head, which produces the greatest distance. The heavier the club head is, the slower the Velocity will be, and the shorter the ball distance will be.

We found some great golf instruction videos on youtube, among which the most notable were those by instructor

Shawn Clement and also, the slow motion video of the Swing by pro golfer Sam Snead featured prominently.

For the Lady Golfer, there are also videos featuring Ladies like the one titled, "Laurie C. Women's Golf Swing"

and this will lead to many other examples of Ladies' wielding their clubs.

I was at one of the local driving ranges yesterday, and it was full of beginners, including parents and grandparents bringing 5 & 6 year olds to learn the game.

In case you did not know, the top levels of golf tournaments for Ladies are full of Asian women right now.

From China, South Korea, and Japan, the women of Asia are transforming the world of Golf. Top PGA players are now traveling to Asian locations like Shanghai to engage in tournaments.
