"Lady" was the debut single by French outfit Modjo. A deep slice of vocal disco house, it stormed charts all over the world with it's stylish Chic sample (the band snatched a bit of their "Soup For One") and rich male vocal. It's beyond catchy and makes you want to dance, which is a key thing for a record of this type. If it's made for a club, it should make you want to move, and that's what this does. The "Original Mix" is backed by two additional mixes - "Harry 'Choo Choo' Romero's Titanium Dub" and "Roy's Universal Soldiers Mix". Another bonus is the earthier accoustic take on the track. A top dance single.

When I first heard this, I thought it was from Daft Punk. It certainly sounds like something from their album, "Discovery." That said, this song is so much fun!! It totally reminds me of the early 80s (for some reason the show "Moonlighting" pops into my head whenever I hear it). But be warned: their self-titled debut is pretty annoying. If you like this type of 70s-80s infused Dance music, then I highly, HIGHLY suggest "Discovery" by Daft Punk, along with this great single.

I almost died hearing this in Cancun last summer. You will dance like you never have when it's playing.

There are few things to say about a single, but here it goes.
For most of the people, i recommend you stick to buying the modjo singles, for the album is not as good as this single.
All in all this album has great remixes, and the original version of lady.
Its great for parties and to listen to.

this is something different from the market, something that.....u need to hear it tonight! this song has wow the UK merket by hitting no.1 and being the first french group to hit a no.1 single in UK ever, so u bet u'll like this song, a catchy tune and trying something new.

They played this song all over Mexico and in every club eveyr time eveyr minute. It is a staple for Mexico. Haven't heard it much in the USA. It is funky, and a lot of fun to dance to. From a talented group!

Although I've yet to hear this song in the U.S., if you've ever been to Rio you'll know this is a staple at most clubs. Solid beat, different than most techno, and will probably be a big hit in the States on the club scene. If you have not heard it yet you most certainly will.

Lady (Hear Me Tonight) is by far, one of the best dance songs of the 2001. This song is emotional and catchy, you will never get tired of it. The remixes are excellent too. Lady has reached #1 in the US dance charts and in several other countries, and has well deserved it. Listen to this song, it will be one of your all-time favourites, I know it will be one of mine.

Lady is one of the best dance tracks so far for 2001. The song captivates you, makes you wanna dance and hear this song over and over again. You can never get tired of this song. These guys from France did a good job on this track. Locally this song gets a lot of requests and airplay. I'm definitely feeling Modjo and awaiting their next single.
