Knock on wood brought a 21 year old woman into stardom for a short summer .After 2 more disco attempts which did not reach the charts,Ammi stewart seemed to have vanished.Not quite she has been enjoying a very succesful career in Italy of all places.This album is a tribute to all the great female artists of jazz and pop that have inspired her through the years. Nina Simon,Chakka Khan,Diana Ross,Patti Labelle and many more,are portrayed here with covers of their signature songs,Played by a 70 piece orchestra.
