p.i. mystery classic
This book is a great private investigator novel. It takes place in southern CA and is a dynamite read. Chandler continues to be a terrific writer.

If you get this and think it is an unabridged reading, think again. This is a dramatized recording of a BBC production of this book, contrary to what the description says.
