This is a true rarity - a book by an Englishwoman about Scottish food filled with beautiful images, excellent recipes, factual and fun-to-read descriptions and affectionate, forthright characterizations. You will know the author's tastes and talents in no time and appreciate the quality of food available in Scotland today. I read it cover to cover at one sitting after intending a quick leaf-through.
