4.0 out of 5 stars Loosely Based on a Famous British Case Tichborne Claimant, January 21, 2004
This book might fit into the slot of Historical Romantic Suspense or even Gothic Novel. There's a governess (with a secret) and a disputed inheritance and a cast of largely familiar and deftly handled characters.

Blane Mallow ran away from home. He was a very wild young man. Now, some years later, Blane is heir to the title and estate of Lord Mallow and a man claiming to be Blane Mallow makes an appearance. He just might be the heir, or he might not.

Sarah Mildmay. the governess with a secret, finds herself in the middle of a potentially explosive family situation, where secrets lurk behind every door.

If you miss the Gothic novel of yore or you missed the whole genre, this is not a bad choice.
