5.0 out of 5 stars Audio K does it again, not suprisingly., June 20, 2004

What can I say, as an Audio Karate fan? This is definitely a change from Space Camp. Their sound has evolved, not so much in the sense as matured, but it is something different. They still have the 'fuzzy' Stratocaster sound we all got used to, with some killer riffs and screaming vocals. But the stuff they've released is a little heavier, maybe making them more classifiable as hardcore punk, but it still holds true to their melodical roots.

5.0 out of 5 stars Audio Karate Is GOD, June 1, 2004

Audio Karate has done it once again, pulling off yet another great release. "Lady Melody" is a bit more 'harder' than Space Camp was, but trust me, it sounds so much better. All the songs are great and sound terrific, not one slummy boring song at all on this album. Every single track has it's own different kind of style, especially "Hey Maria" which is a beautifully done slow song. The lyrics are amazing too, Audio Karate really have matured a lot since their last album. This is a MUST HAVE for any music fan. Audio Karate seriously are the best at what they do, and they did a great follow-up to Space Camp, which in itself seemed almost impossible to achieve. The CD also includes 3 enhanced videos, which are the music video of "Jesus Is Alive and Well (And Living in Mexico)", the making of the album, and the music video to "Nintendo 89", which is found on their last release. BUY THIS, IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! Also make sure to check out their website for more info at: www.audiokarate.com

Audio Karate is one of the best bands out right now, and why everyone has yet to discover them is F****N amazing. All their songs are great. Once you start to listen to this albulm you won't be able to stop listening to it. Listen to Jesus is Alive and Well in Mexico, to rock out, and then listen to Maria to slow it, while still rocking, well stop ready and buy already, no regrets.

5.0 out of 5 stars An awesome album, October 16, 2005

This albums is awesome, all songs are great, not one song slows down the album. Space Camp was a great listen, but this album really shows how much they improved as artist. I seriously don't understand why the masses haven't found this gem. Particular favorites are Jesus is live and well in mexico, aim to please, hey Maria, but all songs are great. Go have a listen to Jesus is live and well in Mexico and then buy the album. Your money will be well spent.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great Follow up, July 29, 2004

I was very excited to hear that audio karate had a new release. Their previous album 'space camp' was an excellent mix of great guitar work and great emotion filled vocals which left other bands of its genre far behind. On the new record we find the same, if not more, creativity behind the guitar parts. And vocalist Art actually seems to scream a lot more on this album, yet the record sounds just as melodic as Space Camp. There is a slight change of style however, they took a step away from their pop punk intirior and replaced it with more emotionally charged breakdown parts. At first the record seems a little slower and is harder to get into then Space Camp was. But after 2 or 3 listens this record proves itself to be more inspiring and original then Space Camp.
