Book Description

January 2000
Eurotica launches yet another amazing talent, this time from the UK. Mixing humor and horror, this fully painted full color romp will make your mouth water. Saucy (and stacked) Vicki Belle, undergarment boutique owner, must spend a few nights in the haunted Fiddlestone Manor. She decides her bashful but incredibly well-hung accountant Dobbin Daintree, whom she¹s already pulled into modeling slinky underwear much to his chagrin and the delight of her clientele, will be perfect to accompany her for protection. Together, they must face the vampire who ravishes the spellbound gorgeous lady of the mansion every night!

2.0 out of 5 stars Lots of promise, no delivery, June 15, 2001
This review is from: The Lady and the Vampire (Paperback)
This book delivers neither plot nor any particularly exciting illustrations (little nudity, no sex). The combination of vampires and eroticism has so much possibility. Unfortunately this book completely fails to capitalize upon it.

The only reason that this book ranked two stars rather than one is that the illustrations are reasonably decent quality.

2.0 out of 5 stars a huge dissappointment, August 19, 2005
This review is from: The Lady and the Vampire (Paperback)
i expected a half way decent storyline, but found out after the first few pages this book was nothing more than pictures of nearly nude to nude bodies. i'm declaring the artwork fabulous but that isn't the reason i purchased this so-called book. if you expected (as i did) to read about a love story involving a vampire. save your money and forget THE lADY AND THE VAMPIRE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Light hearted comic, excellent art, January 3, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Lady and the Vampire (Paperback)
This is a comic that goes very light on the vampire, and very heavy on the lady. It's the first in the series, and has the most story, even though the story is minimal. It's a very fun-hearted story, about Vikki Belle who owns a lingerie store, and who mercilessly teases her assistant (both pictured in bed on cover), and then they get into a sticky situation involving a vampire. It does have more story than the second and third in the series, Riviera Moon Goddess and The Palace of a Thousand Pleasures, but the story is still minimal. I really like the style of art in this book, but it might not be for everyone.

On another note, the anatomies of all of the characters are very greatly exaggerated. Do not give this as an instructional guide to an innocent bride-to-be before her wedding, as she will be sorely disappointed since real men aren't nearly as graced and supplied as this book makes men out to be.

Pros:
+Gratuitous and plentiful comic fleshiness
+Excellent, richly colored art
+Excellent quality pages and book production

Cons:
-Only has the one style. If you like the cover, you'll like the book. If you don't like the cover, you won't like the book.
-Unrealistically fortified women and overly-equipped men
