1.0 out of 5 stars Mine died
My Ladybug XL worked great initially. I loved the Ladybug and its ease of use. Unfortunately, it had its first meltdown within a month of ownership. I returned the Ladybug and received a replacement, thinking the original was a lemon. The second Ladybug died within a few months, as did the first. The Ladybug was repaired under warranty. Unfortunately the second,...

I have been using this steamer for over a month now and am still impressed. The volume and heat of the steam is outstanding. The continuous refill ability allows this unit to be used for several hours without being shut down for refills. I have cleaned stoves, tile, glass, floors, bathroom fixtures and even utensil and this steamer cuts through the grunge without the use of chemicals with the exception of bathrooms. A bit of lime away is still helpful to get any deposits loosened before steam cleaning.

I am also very satisfied with the build and operation of the unit. The attachments are all well made and fit solidly with no leakage of steam around the joints. The attachments are well insulated and even after long periods of use remain cool enough to handle without the use of gloves. All the parts lock together with a very solid snap and do not come apart in normal use.

All in all I can highly recommend this steamer. A solids all around package.

5.0 out of 5 stars Built to last!, January 11, 2010
This review is from: Ladybug XL Vapor Steam Cleaner Commercial Grade - Standard Package (Kitchen)
I just bought a used LadyBug that was 8 years old. I used it on my tile floor and grout and its so clean that you could eat off it! The ladybug has a simple design, but its made well and so are the attachments.
One con for all steamers... they use a lot of electricity, so be careful what else you are running at the same circuit.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you're looking for a GREAT Vapor cleaner, look no further...., July 22, 2010
This review is from: Ladybug XL Vapor Steam Cleaner Commercial Grade - Standard Package (Kitchen)
I've had this model of Ladybug for years and it works as well as the day I bought it. I know this is a LOT of money to spend on a cleaning appliance, but it really is worth every penny. You can clean everything with this unit because of all the various attachments it comes with. Before I bought my power washer I used my Ladybug to remove moss from a brick wall in my courtyard...it worked too! I use it to clean my floors, my windows, my walls (be careful on your walls! don't leave the vapor on a wall or it will remove the paint and damage the drywall...be very careful) the kitchen, bathroom, the oven, the microwave. If you have a stubborn stain to clean, it's no match for the vapor cleaner. I have used every attachment too. I admit, I don't use the squeegee attachment for windows anymore because it's easier just to spray the vapor on the window and dry with a paper towel or rag. It works wonders on windows and mirrors. It took some old paint off a window that had been there for YEARS....the vapor just melted it away. All the attachments have a home on the unit. A place for everything and everything in its place....I love it. I also like the fact that you use cloth with the floor attachments. The DVD explains how to attach the cloths and how to use all the various attachments. It's a continuous vapor boiler. When you run out of water, just refill it and keep on going. There's no waiting for the vapor to build again. It's just an all around great cleaning machine. It even comes with its own funnel! If you're in the market for a vapor cleaner, this is the one to get. It's built to last and definitely has lasted for me. It's a great machine.

5.0 out of 5 stars LadybugXL Superior Product, October 28, 2010
This review is from: Ladybug XL Vapor Steam Cleaner Commercial Grade - Standard Package (Kitchen)
I have had my LadyBug XL for well over 6 years and use it extensively. There is nothing like it for cleaning toilets, mirrors, stovetops, etc. I was cleaning my washing machine one day and wondering how to get the soap (dry) residue out from the edges and it dawned on me I should try the LadyBug -- worked like a charm!

I've even used it to 'spray' cobwebs from door corners, etc. on my outside doors.

I highly recommend both the functionality and features AND longevity of this machine.

I returned the Ladybug and received a replacement, thinking the original was a lemon. The second Ladybug died within a few months, as did the first. The Ladybug was repaired under warranty. Unfortunately the second, third and fourth repairs weren't within the warranty period and were quite costly. My Ladybug sits in a shop today, awaiting a $300 repair that it will not receive. Enough is enough! I would positively not recommend a Ladybug. This is a link for the machine I am considering purchasing now. [...] The stats are nearly identical it is half the price!
