5.0 out of 5 stars A superbly crafted and presented book for young folks
Wonderfully written and charmingly illustrated by Mia Posada, Ladybugs: Red, Fiery And Bright is an educational picturebook especially designed to entertain and inform young readers. Its rhyming verse text teaches the young reader about the life cycle of the ladybug, from egg to larva, to molting and eventually metamorphosing into the fiery red insect that everyone knows...

I have submitted an email to the vendor, but to date have heard nothing back yet. I know this said it was an unknown library binding, but to me that means this is a book. When it arrived, it was a cassette. There was no mention of this product being a cassette. Who uses cassettes anymore? They are obsolete! I will not be purchasing anything from this vendor in the future!

5.0 out of 5 stars A superbly crafted and presented book for young folks, April 13, 2002
This review is from: Ladybugs: Red, Fiery, and Bright (Hardcover)
Wonderfully written and charmingly illustrated by Mia Posada, Ladybugs: Red, Fiery And Bright is an educational picturebook especially designed to entertain and inform young readers. Its rhyming verse text teaches the young reader about the life cycle of the ladybug, from egg to larva, to molting and eventually metamorphosing into the fiery red insect that everyone knows so well. Ladybugs also has a brief addendum that tells more basic facts about ladybugs, such as how farmers use them to control aphids. A superbly crafted and presented book for young folks, Ladybugs is enthusiastically recommended for both school and community library collections.

I used this book to help teach an art project about Ladybugs. It was a sweet story and actually had a large amount of info.
