2.0 out of 5 stars Hard to Read, Incoherent in Places, June 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: A Lady's Lesson (Mass Market Paperback)
This book means well, but it is hard to read either because of the way it's written or printer error; I find myself reading the same sentence over and over trying to make sense of it, only to break it down and find it's not a whole sentence, it's a clause, or a sentence with no end, just left dangling. This makes it really hard to get through because you're constantly analyzing and trying to make sense of it; hopefully when/if it's reprinted, they'll clean up the editing a little more and make it easier to get through. The story could be good if it were a bit more coherent. To me it spoils the story if I'm constantly having to try to figure out what the author is trying to say.
