"Laetitia" is like a great beauty with spinach on her teeth.,

This review is from: Laetitia Casta (Hardcover)
Laetitia Casta is, of course, a spectacularly beautiful and shapely model, and the photographers represented in the eponymous book are among the best and most fashionable in the world. Alas, the photos are vandalized by the worst reproduction and printing quality in a photo book in recent years. Previews of the book in "Photo" and other magazines carry greatly superior reproductions of the images which here are out of focus and muddy. "Forms", by Patrick Demarchelier, carries several of the same images and a comparison of the two books is utterly humiliating for the dreadful Laetitia. As for the color images -- well, only the mini poster glued to the back cover offers anything worth viewing. Don't buy the book without seeing it first, so you can be sure of what you are -- and are not -- getting.

escapist,
This review is from: Laetitia Casta (Hardcover)
This book caught my eye while I was working in the Amazon.com Seattle Distribution Center wharehouse. I love to see pictures of models when they were younger or "off duty." I guess I do this wondering how much of what I see is real and how much is done with make-up and the camera. What i found was that Laetita is just as alluring in her youth and without the aid of fashion experts. Her family photos were the most amazing. The Mediterranean back-drop and Laetita's haunting eyes seem to melt into one. For God sakes, put me on a plane and get me out of here! I highly recommend this book to those interested in beauty.

Casta is wonderful and her book is great!,

This review is from: Laetitia Casta (Hardcover)
I love this book! I have always perceived that Laetitia Casta is beyond a supermodel. Unlike her supermodel peer, Casta seems to be very down to earth. Her quotes are very refreshingly honest. More, Casta is also physically capable as some of you might already know that she has successfully finished a boot camp training session in the French army. Yes, Casta is hot and some of her pictures are revealing. However, she is much more than a beautiful face and wonderful body. Casta is an intelligent, strong, professional woman.

Laetita and the photos are good, but paper and quality of reproductions could have been much better. The poster is very good, but useless since it is folded into four sections! I would like to see a better quality book with more recent photos.

Must have for people who appreciate beauty,
This review is from: Laetitia Casta (Hardcover)
This book shows the career path of arguably the most beautiful woman on the planet. When Calvin Klein was talking about 'Supermodel is dead', there came Laetitia, fresh at 16 years old. And then when all the other models are looking doped and skinny, there came Laetitia, full-bodied and absolutely voluptuous with almost no straight line visible all over her 'look'. Then she took the whole fashion world by storm. Now she is one of the most featured model on magazine covers, Victoria's Secret Catalogue and countless fashion shows around the world. If you caught her on the Late Show with Dave Berriman, you know how wonderful this young girl is. I call her 'bubbly', very cheerful, lovely smile with a positive personality. This book, with the most gorgeous photography displays the utmost in human beauty, well, the utmost in HEALTHY human beauty.

French fashion model Laetitia Casta is presented in a handsome oversized photographic exploration Laetitia Casta, with over 200 color photos gathering her most sensuous images (many previously unpublished). Followers of fashion photography will find this a particularly compelling collection of her many fashion styles and faces.

Not the best they could have done with stunning beauty,
By A Customer
This review is from: Laetitia Casta (Hardcover)
This book is sort of like an extended puff piece magazine article, with many glossy vogue-style photos. Laetitia is gorgeous, though these are not necessarily the best or sexiest photos of her by any means. A kind of collector's item tribute to a model of our time.

If you are a true fan of Laetitia Casta, you will really like this book, despite what some naysayers say about the quality of paper and selection of photos - who cares, she's so darn beautiful, it's fine anyway - enjoy it! There are pictures of young Laetitia and her whole family and relatives. I like this page, it shows more of who she is. Go get it, it's well worth the money!

Latitia: The most beautiful woman on the planet.,

This review is from: Laetitia Casta (Hardcover)
This book is great. Beautiful photography and a light biography of this man's favorite girl. If you're looking for a novel, I'm sure you all know where the fiction is. However, if you want to gaze at a very lovely woman, who just happens to work with some of the greatest photographers in the world, buy it. You won't be dissapointed.

A beautiful girl? Yes. A beautiful book? Maybe...,

Of course, any photo book about Laetitia Casta would be interesting. But, if you are a fan of Laetitia Casta, you probably already know most of the photos shown in this book. The main problem is the poor quality of print. For a book this price, this is a sad thing.
