Here is a Like New Set of Six Collectible FRAMED Plates from the Lafayette Legacy Collection D'arceau-Limoges FIRST EDITION; MADE BY HAND IN FRANCE. Each plate has its information booklet and its Certificat D'origine; each booklet gives the history of its plate; the booklets and certificates have been folded in 1/4 at some point; see photo to see how certificates/booklets look now. The frames are a rich color brown wood and in grand condition Plate 1 - December 1776: Lafayette signs his enlistment in the Army of the Insurgents. Plate 2 - June 5, 1777: Lafayette leaves his ship in South Carolina. Plate 3 - July 13,1977: George Washington invites Lafayette to join his General Staff. Plate 4 - September 11, 1777: Lafayette is wounded in the leg during the Battle of Brandywine. Plate 5 - February, 1779: Lafayette remits messages from congress to Benjamin Franklin. Plate 6 - October 1781: Lafayette forces the Englishman Cornwallis into surrender.
