I've always been pretty happy with Lafeber's foods, with the pellets being my bird's main staple and the berries serving as treats. Of course he does get occasional people food, fruits and veggies, cheese... but I feel more comfortable sticking predominantly with the parrot food.

What really irks me though are the prices they advertise here. I am sure these MSRPs are flat out highly inflated prices. C'mon, List Price: $61.08?? There's no friggin way. Petco sells it for $19.99 in store, I buy it for $18.99 at my local bird store. I'm supposed to "feel good" that I'm saving $45.09 or 74%?? Ya might just be driving away customers like me using these tactics.

when we bought our African Grey about 6 months ago, the vet recommended several brands of food. The one he recommended most highly was Harrison's, suggesting LaFeber's only as treats. Sir Squawks-a-lot hated Harrisons, and threw 90% of it on the bottom of his cage. I read one of these reviews, and realized that I could feed him LaFeber's (which he adores) as his primary food. He loves it, his feathers, beak eyes etc. all look perfect, and the vet says he is in excellent health. So, I buy it here by the tub full. One review complains about the price..ON this site, it is $20 and no shipping if you order two at a time. This is compared to $33 at my local pet store. I think that is a good deal

My 40+ year old African Gray (I adopted him) loves this stuff. He never took to anything this fast. Even my little cockatiel looks forward to it as a treat. She doesn't eat the whole thing (I only give her one) but she loves what she eats. I highly recommend it. Amazon has the best price I've found. I tried some from a pet store before, but it was harder and I believe it was not as fresh.

I had a parrot for about 5 years. Now he lives with family members who give him lots of attention and love him as much as I loved him. Sometimes I like to "treat" him still with food, treats and toys every so often. He has always thrived and never been sick (with the exception of a couple of colds in the past eight years). He has beautiful feathers. Since he was a baby, he has always loved these Nutri-Berries, which have been his main staple. This is the stuff he has been eating for years, and it is his favorite. He loves to eat lots of different treats and people-food as well, but these and the Nutri-Nuts from the same company are his favorite parrot foods. He goes absolutely crazy for these! This is a great deal, and with free shipping it cannot be beat! The product itself costs a little more at the pet store. In addition to saving money on the product, buying this here online saves you the cost of the gas it takes to drive to the store to buy it. I totally recommend! A+++++

Our bird Koko ( an African grey) really likes the taste. Interesting He eats them for dinner not during the day after eating his vegetables.

My Sun Conure, Karma really likes Nutri-berries. I wonder how much of them he/she is actually eating. It seems a lot of it winds up in the water bowl or on the floor of the cage

the parrot food is a very good value and Sidney the crazy bird really likes the flavor. It provides alot of nutrition. I still give him fruits and veges, but if I am out of town, I don't worry.

purchased Lafeber's Nutri-Berries Parrot Food. I was familiar with the product as my parrot has been eating these for the past 3 years. Product has become hard to find and has gone up in price some 30%. Amazon shipped it on time and for way less than the local pet stores. Look forward to making my next order.

I use these for my Cockatoo and my macaw. They both love them! I make sure i have a bucket on hand always for a snack or if im leaving for a few hours so they can stay happy while im gone.
