SIMPLY THE BEST,

Have been using this product for a number of years and used to order it from a well known pet store. Had too many problems getting it on time. I switched to Amazon.com for this product and found it less expensive and received it promptly twice. Very satisfied with the price and service. Excellent product for parrots.

My cockatoo, now 22 years old, absolutely loves these pellets. They may end up on the floor but he'll go out of his way to find and eat them all.
Occasionally Lance - our Dalmatian - finds a few on the floow but Amadeus is just trying to entertain himself. What a great bird!

My Cockatoo Loves It!!!!,

This review is from: Lafeber's Premium Daily Diet for Macaws and Cockatoos (Misc.)
My cockatoo, Charlie, is a rather picky bird. He is constantly throwing food around and to the bottom of his cage. The dogs love it, evidently they have grown fond of the taste of bird pellets and various seeds. I, however, am not too fond of constantly having to sweep around the cage.
I knew he loved the Lafebers bird balls they sell, so I decided to try these. They didn't look appetizing to me, but I'm not a bird. I didn't know if he would eat them, and of course it would have been a rather expensive faux pas on my part if he didn't, but it would be worth it if he ate them since they were healthier, in my opinion. At first he looked at them as if they were supposed to entertain him. He immediately picked the seed balls out, but then the next thing I knew he had finished every single pellet. It's the first time he's eaten every pellet of anything. None were in the bottom of the cage and none were on the outside waiting for the broom. The next day he couldn't wait to be fed. He was out playing and chasing his bell around the room, but when we came in with the food he literally ran to the cage and jumped in wanting to eat. In my book, this product is a winner.

Contrary to lafeber's other products, this food must be made from cardboard and old shoes. I was not able to get the even the wild birds outside to eat it in the dead of winter.
