I have two pieces including this one. Also have Le Creuset and Staub and Lafonte has the quality, performance of both with an improvement in design aesthetic. The interchangeable handles (wood and iron) make these my favorites pots of all. Cleanup is easier than LC because the inside is grey and doesn't discolor. Food cooks evenly in the oven or on the stove and these pots take a beating! I fry, braise, bake, saute and even use one dry for warming tortillas, they do it all perfectly!
