At first, I was flabbergasted by the price of this chair. But, I forced myself to remember that I no longer get change back from my dollar at Burger King either. I've grown old and prices have changed (this chair costs only about 10 pizzas or 4 restaurant meals for the family). So, I bought two of these chairs. So far, they seem well worth the price. They're very comfortable and seem well built. When you sit in one, you're fully suspended: there's no bar hitting you behind the legs or under the tush. The only "complaint" I have is that you can't straighten the chair out completely and lie on your stomach. Well worth the price.

My husband and I both have these chairs. We take them camping with us. Once you get in the chair, you don't want to get out of them. They are extremely comfortable & sell themselves. We have had many compliments on the chairs & when any of our friends have tried them, they insist on knowing where we got them & the next thing I know, they have one! I am planning on buying one for my daughter for her birthday present this year. The warranty is also great. The company stands behind their product, with no questions asked. Instead of fixing the chair, they completely replaced it. If you get a chair, I promise you won't be disappointed!

First of all, of course you can obtain parts for these chairs. The instructions are included with each chair complete with part numbers for the complete cover set, set of laces, armrests...etc. Go to any local LaFuma dealer. I found the elastic cords on line for less than twenty bucks. SitinComfort dot com has them, but I have not purchased anything from them yet.
Second, this chair is the most comfortable, relaxing chair I have ever owned. I bought them because one reviewer said that the chairs were so comfortable that it was hard to get people to leave them outside. Same thing here. I am buying more of them, they seem to be a great deal at this price.
They are fairly lightweight so they are nicely portable.
The only fault I can find is that the chairs will rust if the powdercoating is chipped. I am careful not to bang them around.

I did not buy this chair from Amazon. I spent $... at a local store. Wish I'd bought it from Amazon (could have saved a bundle). I was shopping for a chase lounge for my deck. I looked at this chair and then looked at the price. My initial reaction was this is way too much money for a folding chair and I am looking for lounge anyway. Then ... I sat down in it! Boy are looks decieving. This chair was GREAT! I bought it without any regard for the price. I set it up on the deck and went to sleep. Work hard for my money and this chair earns it's price.

My husband purchased this chair for me a couple of years ago for our cabin. I have relaxed and napped in this chair and now am purchasing another one for home. It takes all strain off your back and muscles. Your neck is supported by the pillow and you don't feel any discomfort anywhere! I have recommened this chair to friends who have also purchased it and they were not sorry.

We use these everyday in our family room. My wife complains that I have a chair collection at home. This is the least expensive and most comfortable chair in the house. It's so comfortable that I fall asleep in these all the time. Compared to a traditional lounge chair, its so much lighter and manueverable. The only drawback is that the bungie cord wears and breaks after about two years. Like floating on clouds at a nearly horizontal position.

I purchased 2 of these chairs and we love them, however they are now in need of restringing and even possibly new cloth. I have contacted 2 distributors by email & phone and even emailed lafuma themselves requesting info on where to purchase needed materials and no one has replied, making me feel these chairs are like a Bic Lighter, once they have gone throught their cycle, throw them away. I also was going to purchase 2 more of these chairs for our Florida home but I would definitely never purchase another product from this manufacture. They obviously treat you like the car salesman who wants the sale on the new car but not interested in the follow up service.

After 6 months...The elastic that holds the chair seat together rots. We dont even keep it directly in the sun.

Once the elastic rots the whole chair comes apart. Maybe I can use bungee chords to put it back together

We purchased two of these chairs since we enjoyed the feel so much, however the frames rusted out after two years, and the elastic cords needed to be replaced after only one year. I must say this is probably the worst purchase decision I've ever made. These chairs were too expensive to be essentially disposable !

I just got this chair for Mothers Day. I set it up in the back yard and fell asleep in it. You feel like you are floating because of the bungees holding the fabric on the chair. It also folds up nice and slim so it travels easily.
