Lafuma - in France - is the original designer of this kind of chair, which is why I ordered that brand. They come in mesh or cotton. This particular chair is black cotton (probably duck) and very comfortable. Instructions on the box say not to leave it out in the weather, which is understandable, given the fact that it's cloth. It's plenty large, roomy and easy to recline and get out of. I would recommend this chair if using it in a situation where it would be brought in out of the weather after use.
