The previous review pointed out that the chair is not true zero gravity because it does not lift the feet close enough to the heart. The feet are several inches below the heart, BUT, this chair is wicked comfortable and attractive. It is very wide, long, and strong. This is exactly the same as the $249 Lafuma Futura Clipper XL except it comes in an outdoor green. AWESOME...

1.0 out of 5 stars This is not a zero-gravity chair
This may be a nice recliner for some people, but those who need a real zero-gravity chair should look elsewhere. It does not elevate your feet above your heart.

I purchased a Futura Clipper XL and noticed immediately that it doesn't elevate my feet as far as other zero-G chairs I have owned. I then measured the distance from the floor to my heard and the...

AWESOME CHAIR. If you are short you will need to buy this model rather than the RSX because the arms on the RSX move away from you when you try to sit up, fixed position on the Futura. This puppy will throw you back, settle in and say goodnight. The weave on the Futura Clipper does not give as much as the RSX models which makes it last longer and is slightly less flexible. The clip system seems to be much more durable than the elastic on the RSX. My FC XL outdoor padded is very comfortable to somebody 5 feet tall to six foot six, my family loves this thing. Also, while other FC with different colors sell for 249, Amazon had this sucker for 95 with free shipping. THAT WAS A TOTAL STEAL!!! SWEEEET!!

I then measured the distance from the floor to my heard and the floor to my ankles, and my ankles were 2-3 inches below my heart. The service person at the dealer confirmed my findings. Unfortunately, return shipping for these large products is extremely expensive - about a third of the cost of the product, even for ground shipping.

People who for medical reasons need to rest with their feet above their heart will not be served by this chair unless they add pillows or something to prop their feet up another several inches.
