4.0 out of 5 stars Great runing shoe.
It's a very light running shoe with outstanding arch support and decent cushion in the heel and ball of the foot. The only reason I give it four stars and not five is due to the sizing. Every shoe I own is a size 10. I ordered these in 10, a 9 1/2 would fit me better I think. They are not quite as snug as I would like them to be, but not overly loose either. Still, I run...

2.0 out of 5 stars Expected more from this shoe
This might just be my experience, but this shoe did not meet expectations. It is not very comfortable and the footing bed I characterize as "cheap" and unsupportive. I expected a lot more. Some parts of the shoe are innovative, such as the lacing system. I bought the orange color version of this shoe in mid-Sep 2008 when they were on special for $32. Maybe I got an...

Maybe I got an inferior run of the product. I would definitely not buy again, even at $32.

Still, I run 10k a day in mine with no compaints from my feet. Definitely worth the price. I will buy them again when I wear this pair out, but in a 9 1/2 next time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great styling, good cushioning, overall great shoe!, July 14, 2009

This shoe is not only better looking than it appears online but it also has great support and cushioning. I put a good Powerstep insole in which i like to do for most of my shoes to accomodate my high arches and they are a fantastic pair. The twin lace system is cool but probably not really that helpful in daily use. I definitely recommend this shoe at any price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shoe for a great price, November 14, 2008

I got the waterproof OT shoes first, then got these. These are much lighter, breath better, and have a softer sole. I like the funky lacing system. I would easily compare these to Merril brand shoes. I run off road in both shoes and wear the non-waterproof pair daily. At around $25 you cannot find a better shoe, they are worth the retail price of $80-$100 in my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars I really like these shoes, October 18, 2008

I was lured to these shoes by the color. I wanted something different and they were on sale for a very decent price. They fit well and I like the unique lace system. I'm not really a "trail runner", but the shoes work fine for general walking. These shoes seem to be put together as nice as any other brand name shoe I've purchased.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lafuma Skyrace trail runner, November 13, 2008

Although I still think Lafuma make the best trail running shoe out there. I was dissapointed to find there are 2 types of skyrace shoe. after sending half way around the world for this pair I find they are not SkyRace OT (the waterproof version) there was no mention of there being two types anywhere on the site. I will be keeping these shoes for summer running, but beware when looking for a waterproof trail shoe, to make sure you order the OT type.
I would still recommend Lafuma trail shoes, as they are very comfortable from the first time you wear them. dont be put off by the price. they are a very good shoe. If mine had been waterproof this would have been a great report.
