Great Buy,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Lafuma Warm N Light 800G Down 30 Degree Sleeping Bag (Sports)
Keeps me warm in fall / spring weather. I have not tried it in real cold weather. The zippers don't snag. Packs compact.

This review is from: Lafuma Warm N Light 800G Down 30 Degree Sleeping Bag (Sports)
I have the earlier model. It is 650 fill-power Down and I believe 10% feathers. At 800grams (1 lb. 12 ounces) is is extremely light. When below freezing I found I needed to put my down Parka over me in addition to the sleeping bag, but that worked out fine. It is a fairly close mummy bag, but not as close as some. It compresses well and the hood is a well designed. I don't find zipper snagging a problem. Like all down bags a mattress pad of some sort is necessary. I also found the shell to be quite water resistant. After being leaked on by tent condensation all night I found beads of water just rolled off the bag with no effect. It isn't a high end sleeping bag, you will pay $300 to 400 for one of those, but it is certainly a very good value for any backpacker.
