A full-featured, synthetic-fill sleeping bag rated to 40 degrees F, the Lafuma X650 Pro is loaded with improvements for 2010, including new, softer liner fabrics, a redesigned compression stuff sack that makes packing and compressing easier, and an extra 2 inches in length. The X650 Pro is equipped with a water-repellent, treated polyamide shell and polyamide lining, along with a .8D ultramicro fiber insulation. The insulation offers a terrific combination of warmth and light weight, and is ideally suited to people with down allergies. The draft tube and cold-proof flap, meanwhile, also team up to keep you cozy on chilly evenings. Other features include a full hood with an easy-access drawcord; a full-length, auto-lock, two-way zip with a windproof gusset at the bottom; a snag-free zipper guard; an interior Velcro pocket; and a left and right zip.

Appalachian Trail trip planned for 2 weeks in May. Normally cooler this time of year but right before leaving realized with extended weather forecast that temperature looked warmer. Researched light weight compact sleeping bag and the Lafuma X650 Pro 40 Degree fit all my needs and was a very good price. Very little money to have it shipped next day from Amazon. Was a bit concerned that it would not be long enough because I am 6'3" but it was fine. Completed trip and the bag worked great.
