Pretty good early RPG,
By A Customer

This game is pretty good for the earlier Super NES rpg's. I think the graphics are comparable to the earlier Final Fantasy games. This game is pretty fun to play, there are lots of guys to fight, the bosses are not too hard but it's pretty challenging figuring out how to get to some of them. You have to fight guys to raise your levels, there are lots of mazes and puzzles to figure out, you collect money and buy or find new weapons and other items like in FF as you travel through the world to new villages and castles. The basic plot is to save the Lagoon (so that the world can have water) from the bad guys, while saving the princess and getting her to fall in love with you. The game is not too hard (you won't need a strategy guide or anything) and it won't take over your life like FF does. It's just a lot of fun!

LAGOON,

This old-fashioned RPG is actually a lot of fun to play-once you get past the totally basic look of it. It doesn't have that your turn-my turn battle feature, which to me gets too repetitive. You actually earn powers, weapons, items on your way to save the girl. The bosses are not too difficult, but getting to them is a challenge. It is primarily maze-based play, finding doors, talking, etc. Give it a try-for this low price, it really is a decent game.

Lagoon, a classic SNES game; A memory...,

When I first saw this game, I must have been like 5 or 6. My father played it. I remember him getting up to Thor (The Big Bird) And dying. He never did finish it. Just two years ago, I bought it. And just recently I played it and beat it. It is a great game, full of adventure, fun, weird creatures, and bosses (Some easy, some quite difficult) And of course, beautiful environments (For an SNES game) The characters are pretty cool, and they all seem to have a goal. This game is definately worth any price if you can find it. It is an awesome game, with an awesome soundtrack (HARD to find). So, I will leave you with these words: Buy the game. If you find it, buy it. It is a lot of fun.....

This game is good to get if you are a collector. It is hard to attack monsters, but once you get the timing, it is not that bad. It is a very straightforward, beginners RPG. Not really much of a story, but oh well... For how cheap it is, buy it!

game is offbeat from Zelda nd various other action rpg titles, but its a warm bowl of stew from them, , not totally memorable but offers something to power your console on for every time.

The look of this game doesn't look like an Illusion of Gaia or a Final Fantasy II. It would be less in the graphics department, but not so much so that you would have to pretend. For instance, the store when you walk up to it, you get a pop-up of the store owner; rather than going inside. So, I could appreciate the leap from my GB rpgs; I had been playing games like Final Fantasy Legend III. If you like role-playing games, and you do not mind simpler graphics, the game has a lot to offer in game play. It isn't as long as other Snes role-playing games I have played, but you are satisfied at the end, so for me it was long enough. I don't remember having much choice in where to go, it was rather linear, not open and free roaming, which doesn't have to be a bad thing. As I said earlier, I was glad to see the progress from the earlier Snes game and games that really showed what a Snes could do.
