With 2 young kids, we prefer plastic glasses. When I bought these, I was concerned they would look cheap or like we stole them from the pizza place down the street- but they turned out to be perfect. They look nice, the water drop texture is attractive, and they look like glass at first glance. The glasses stack nicely and neatly. One of the things I especially like, is that when you run them through the dishwasher the base is flat so there is no pooling of water. Many plastic glasses have a rim or cupping on the bottom that holds water so you have to dump it off, and dry the base of the glass before putting it away. Yuck! These are dry when I take them out of the dishwasher. We threw out all our mismatched plastic glasses and bought some in every size of this glass. I highly recommend.

These glasses are really good quality. They look and feel better than any I have been able to find in the stores. I like the way the feel in your hands and the seem to hold up in the dishwasher.
