Excellent CD full of tremendously talented artist. Out of all of Powell's CD's this is te best. I have recommended and played this CD for several close friends and jazz enthusiast all of whom enjoyed it very much. No brainer. Winner. So much so....my CD grew legs and walked away from home. I had to replace it and now I keep it locked up with the good stuff. Enjoy!

I was listening to Doc's most current release Cool Like That and decided to go back and revisit several earlier releases I own. I forgot how good this really is and the calibur of the guest artist. Gerald Albright, Boney James, Stanley Clarke and Sheila E. are only several high profile pop instrument musicians who are featured on this project together with Doc's incredible grooves. I particularly like that there is a original material on this CD. Terms like funky, soulful, spirited and smooth appropriately describe all the music. If you can find it, get it!!!
