We spend half our time on Lake Como so thought this DVD would be great to have. I wish the other reviews had been available before we bought the DVD. They hit many of the points--this is at best amateurish raw video from a hand-held camcorder. It is completely incoherent, has no continuity and is an embarrassment. Doesn't Amazon review personal DVDs before they make them available?

I was not happy with the DVD; it appeared unprofessional, like someone had just doneit on their own vacation. Their hands, arms appeared in the film, also, the camera shook and the picture was uneven, could hear the boat motor cutting out. Not the usual quality I am used to from Amazon

This video was just like watching a 1950 16 milimeter old movoie. No text, just someones home video. DO NOT BUY this video, it is a huge rip off!

This is a completely ridiculous amateur production of very poorly shot home video from a tourist who is quite in the dark about what it is he is shooting on Lake Como, Italy. The village sequences are completely out of any topographical order, and often are reshown a few scenes later (i.e.: one village is shown from a tour boat the videographer is sailing on, and then another village is shown, after which the first village is reshown upon his return trip on the tour boat). This embaressing collection of poorly shot home videos will be a waste of your money; if planning a trip, you will undoubtedly benefit from a Fodors or Eyewitness travel guide than you will benefit in any manner from this comical collection. Again, this is a most amateur production, with poor sound quality (when there is actually sound provided)and nonsensical (really, nonexistent) storyboarding. If you wish to look at the back of a balding tour bus driver's head whilst travelling down an Italian road as this videographer shoots his scenery from within the tour bus, behind the bus driver, this will be your ideal choice. For a product that is helpful in discerning your visiting choices on Lake Como, consult the top tour guide books and an experienced, high-end travel agent. This home videographer is clearly a tourist on a cheap holiday, hoping to upstart a career in travelogues.
