This review is from: Lake Cycling MX90 Men's Comfort/Mountain Bike Shoes - Red (Misc.)
This is my first attempt at using a clipless pedal system and since I'm more of a touring than mountain/racing rider I wanted something comfortable and walkable that also looked decent. Initially I had a terrible time attaching the cleats because the plate slides around inside of the sole and is quite hard to align correctly. This experience did not leave me with a lot of confidence in the overall quality of the shoe but now a month later I can say that it is a great product that performs well - the sole is quite stiff yet comfortable and the shoe fits snugly even though the heal feels loose - no movement on the foot while riding. No pressure points. I definitely recommend them for the touring rider - clipless shoes really do make a difference and these shoes are a great blend of comfort and functionality (and so far durability) at an affordable price.
