This great German/Scot group from Hamburg released eight albums for various lables. This best-of collection focuses mainly, and justifiably so, on their mostly Columbia output from the first five albums. It's a good sampler for those wanting a taste of the band. Their first three albums should really be purchased though, it's not a coincidence that 14 of the 17 tracks on this disc are from those albums. You'd get all the album cuts and not have to have "Sound Of America" stinking your CD collection. Also, Amazon states that there is a track (#15) called "Key To The Future." No such track exists on this CD.

I don't own this disc, but if I could find it I'd buy it. I really liked this band when they were around from 76-82, and have all their stuff on vinyl. While their music is popish, it's great. The superior songs are as follows: "Key to the Rhyme", "On the Run", and "Crystal Eyes". I would recommend this band to fans of YES, Genesis, and Ambrosia.

This is one of the greatest album's that Lake did. You will know the tunes from start to finish and they truely are classic's. Believed to be the only album that Lake did,which is incorrect, it truely is their best. Just give it a try, you won't regret it.
