Went together easy, looks great, very comfortable, all that it says it is. My wife is very hard to please and I gave her this for mothers day, and she wants me to find more from this manufacturer! How can I say more?

I will say first- I love my two Lakeland gliders. I bought them both Summer of 2001. my father and I put them together but it took an afternoon to do it...not a mere hour. The directions were a bit ambiguous and the deep cracks in the wood...although natural and supposed to be there, I at first thought was a flaw. The holes were small and it was a "bit" difficult to get together, but once they are together, you know they will stay together. We used additional screws just to make sure. They glide wonderfully and we spent all Summer and Fall on our patio, enjoying the fire and gliding the hours away. The best surprise, they are supposed to age to grey but they still look practically brand new and Kansas winters are quite punishing. We have left them exposed to the elements and they still look beautiful. When I first opened that box and saw the split wood and the less than adequate instructions...and then had some difficulty in putting it together...well, I am just glad that I waited to write this review. They are true gems in my backyard and wouldn't give them away for anything....

This is a fantastic glider, we put it together in just over an hour. Quality product, looks great, and it one of the best I've seen.

The glider is an excellent product for the price. I bought this for my father who had to drill at least one extra hole however. That could be a problem for some and is contrary to the description given by Amazon.

I managed to get this together in an hour and a half. The only glitch was one of the glider straps hits against an oversize leg post in the glider frame. I whittled some of the wood away with a pocketknife (hey, it is supposed to look rustic, right?) and problem solved for the most part.

It probably won't fit well with the deck furniture we will eventually buy, but it is comfortable and good looking in a "Grampa's log cabin" sort of way.

I wrote a review 2 years ago and decided to update it. My two gliders are still beautiful. I could not be more pleased! We have since moved to a new house and our gliders came with us. One is on our porch and the other sits at the pond. They have both weathered to a beautiful gray and are as sturdy as ever. If you ever have the chance to obtain this glider, do it!

THIS IS LOVELY LOG CEDAR GLIDER. VERY RUSTIC LOOKING TOO. IT GOSE VERY GOOD WITH OUR CEDAR LOG HOME. IT TOOK THREE ADULTS ABOUT 1 1/2 HOURS TO PUT IT TOGETHER. ONE OF THE OVERSIZED LEGS GOT IN THE WAY OF THE SEAT SWINGING SO WE HAD TO CUT AWAY ALITTLE OF THE LEG. OTHERWISE WE JUST LOVE IT! I GAVE IT A GOOD COAT OF THOMASON WATER SEAL BEFORE PUTTING IT OUT ON THE PORCH. THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT I HAD WAS THE SHIPPING TIME. I PLACED MY ORDER IN SEPTEMBER AND DIDN'T GET THE GLIDER UNTIL DECEMBER. SO IF YOUR IN A HURRY YOU MIGHT WANT TO DOUBLE CHECK THE SHIPPING SCHEDULE. BUT OVERALL I'M GLAD I PURCHASED IT!

We ordered our Lakeland Mills glider on Tuesday and it arrived pretty quickly (by the following Monday). The assembly went fairly smoothly, but it took a little time and patience. We had one minor hassle with one of the pre-assembled base pieces, which had to be taken apart and put back together, because the screw holes were facing the wrong direction. It took all of a few minutes to make the correction, given the informative customer service which helped us figure this out over the phone. Despite this problem, we're giving it 5 stars for comfort, beauty, and sturdiness. The curved seat planks and the angle of the seatback make it extremely comfortable even without a cushion. The motion comes very easily... with just a slight push of the feet, it glides very smoothly and quietly. The glider is solid as a rock, and there's plenty of room for two adults to sit. We ordered ours unfinished, so we could put a dark stain finish on it ourselves. The dark stain gives it more sophistication, and helps remove the granny appearance, imho. I will try to post a photo or two.

This cave dweling piece of made in U.S.A. glider can easily stand up to whatever abuse you might could bring on it. I easily assmebled it single handidly in about an hour. The single best purchase I ever made on line!
