It was o.k. A good introduction and history of the breed, March 31, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Lakeland Terriers (Kw Dog Breed Series) (Hardcover)
The introduction pages, particularly the history of the breed were interesting and insightful. The grooming pages left some to be desired as they concentrate more on clipping the dog, rather than hand stripping. Only by hand stripping can the Lakeland retain the benefits of the coat it was intended to have. The last half of the book was fluff, general dog information, which is common to pet-store type books. Were the book more breed specific throughout it would be more useful to the serious Lakeland fancier.

This book convinced me to get Maddie the Mad Dog.
Maddie is the BEST dog I have ever owned or knew.
I recommend this book strongly if anyone is thinking about getting a Lakeland Terrier.
The best dog breed on the earth.
