Product Description

The Lakewood Model QVT-22 is a dual 750 or 1500 Watt, ice white and gray with chrome colored, fan forced heater with a baked enamel steel and flame retardant plastic console. This model has dual quartz tubes as heating elements and a thermostat with an automatic on/off function to maintain a constant temperature in your space. Other features include a convenient carrying handle, a dual speed fan with high efficiency blade design for quiet operation, a reflector with optimum open slot design for even and safe heat operation, and a rotary dial switch for wattage and off. Additional safety features include a power and caution light, internal high limit thermostat with automatic reset (heater will automatically shut off and reset after cooling), an internal tip over switch which turns the heater off if it's tipped over, and a three pronged grounded cord. This product comes with a one year limited warranty.

The heater works good. The only problem I have is that the fan noise is excessive, especially when in the 1500 watt setting.

I have owned Lakewood quartz heaters for yrs. and use them on a daily basis in winter. They put out allot of heat and aren't very noisy.
In the good old days if a part was needed Lakewood would send it out at no charge. Now I get my occaisional parts from Colorado.
To the gentleman that has switch problems--When my switches get a little hard to turn on, i just remove the selector knob and spray a little WD 40 in one of the holes, run it back and forth and its good as new.
Lakewood used to stand behind their products and thats why I stay with them.

A good value for the money. Have had it for over a month now and works great. With two heat/fan settings it easily heats our rec room in the basement. Fan a little noisey on the high setting but not a serious problem - good white noise.
