About Harmony B Sharp

Harmony B Sharp features an adorable round face, button eyes, and a big personality. Created from the cloth of a singer's dress, she loves to be in the spotlight. Like all Lalaloopsy dolls, she was once a rag doll who came to life just as her last stitches were sewn.

An aspiring singer, Harmony dresses the part with her sparkly blue and pink dress, cute molded socks and shoes, and pink molded hair. She comes with a rattling pet cat to help kids keep the beat while Harmony entertains.

Interchangeable Hair Pieces Trigger Different Songs

Press the button in the center of Harmony's chest and she'll interact with you. She has six ponytail hair pieces: two silly hair pieces with pink bows, a yellow stars hair piece, a green bow hair piece, a top hat hair piece, and a red bow hair piece. Keep the hair pieces organized and in one place with the included plastic pouch.

Each hairstyle triggers a different song when plugged into the hair-piece slot on the right side of Harmony's head. Family members who are sensitive to sounds should know that the Harmony B Sharp doll does not include a volume button. However, she has an on/off switch and her songs and interactions are short.

Included Stage Allows Harmony to Dance and Move

Harmony dances when attached to the stand on the dance stage. When attached and while singing, she moves her legs and arms and twists at the waist. Her hair pieces also whirl and twirl. If unattached, Harmony will continue to talk and sing but without movement.

Interact with Harmony

Harmony interacts with you in several ways. You can help her get ready to perform by choosing a hair piece for her to wear. Or Harmony will prompt you to insert a specific hair piece for her. Occasionally, she will ask you to dance. To save battery power, Harmony will go into sleep mode if she isn't played with for a period of time.

My daughter got it for Christmas and she loves it!

Harmony not only sings five songs but she dances, which is why she comes with the doll stand so it can hold her up to dance!

It talks it's hair spins but it's head makes it top heavy so not much use without the stand.

I can hardly begin to describe how fun this toy is right from the box. I find this doll very engaging and entertaining. I cannot really comment on durability as i have just gotten her. As she is a bit more expensive than the average doll and the purchase may require additional thought, I have a few comments on her basic operation for parents considering this purchase:

Her talking is very cute but she does a lot of it, so if you don't like noisy toys she may not be the right choice for your family. She moves when activated but will only do so when on her stand, otherwise she will talk and sing without motion. She has an on/off switch that also has a setting for her trial mode, which is active when she is packaged. She uses four AA batteries (which she comes with pre-installed, though her instructions advise changing them upon purchase for best performance) which are accessible via a hatch molded into her hair that is removable with a screwdriver, so a child will not be able to get it open on their own... At least not without tools.

She has six interchangeable hair parts that remove and attach easily, and she comes with a pouch to keep them in. When talking she will sometimes ask for a specific hair part and I would imagine that a child might become fussy about this if a part were lost, depending on the child, so whether your child can keep track of all the parts, or will mind if they've lost one, is also something one might want to consider. According to the instructions the hair parts also change what songs she will sing, so again, keeping track of the parts is fairly important.

Overall she is quite adorable when her on switch is activated and functions almost like a regular Lalaloopsy when she is off.

I admit when Lalaloopsy dolls first came out their eyes kinda creeped me out. Since though their bright hair, funky clothes and silliness has won me over. Now Lalaloopsy has come with a doll that is actually entertaining in addition to being cute and silly!

Lalaloopsy Silly Hair Star Doll is a pretty big doll (you can see her standing next to my printer in the picture below) that attaches to her included doll stand. She dances, sings and talks and is ready to go right out of the box. Yes I love when toys that need batteries come with the batteries they need to be played with right out of the box. Harmony not only sings five songs but she dances, which is why she comes with the doll stand so it can hold her up to dance! Her body moves around and her pigtails, which you can change with five different styles, spins around - hence making her Silly Hair Star!

Harmony works with or without her stand, but the stand makes it easier to dance and be displayed. My 16 month old things this doll is absolutely hysterical and she pushing the button on Harmony's chest like there is no tomorrow! She is a pretty durable plastic doll, a little awkward on her feet since she has a big head, but I see her lasting through rough play. She comes with a little plastic purse to store her hair pieces and I do recommend keeping them together as Harmony does ask your child to put on different pieces for different activities. The pieces do snap in and out pretty easily too which is nice since kids like to do things themselves.

Overall, we love the new Lalaloopsy Silly Hair Star Doll. Her songs do get a little annoying but she makes my daughter happy and keeps her entertained. Very cute and different. Not sure though she is worth more than $50 but I'd pay about $40 for her.

LALALOOPSY HARMONY B SHARP is a fun and interesting toy. She is much more interactive than I realized. You need to make sure that your child does NOT loose any of the hair pieces or the hat. She will ask for a certain hair extension and will not perform those functions without it - so if there's not a bag for them (I have not opened the box she's in) you need to find something to keep them in. They are very important to her operation. I don't think a child would find this toy boring even after a long time of play. She performs so many functions and would keep your child entertained. I got her for my granddaughter (who's been begging for her for a long time now.)

We purchased this doll for my daughter's 5th birthday. She was so excited for it, and quickly disappointed. We had 5 college educated adults and a handy 12 year old trying to secure the doll on her stand, and no one was able to do it. We read, reread, and searched online for a solution and still have not securely attached the doll to the stand. After an hour of trying we gave us. I have contacted the company and I'm waiting to hear back from them. This doll is not a good purchase.

The child it was bought for was not thrilled either and it was expensive for what it is. It talks it's hair spins but it's head makes it top heavy so not much use without the stand. Not something you can cuddle up to either as it is hard plastic in it's entirety, I will not buy La La Loopsy products again.

For any parents buying this toy, have a small Phillips screwdriver handy. The doll has a twist tie in the back of her head that you can't remove without said screwdriver.

With that out of the way, the toy is fun. I bought it for my daughter and she is happy with it. The accessories give tons of play time options. For the dancing features to work properly, she must be put into her stand. Which brings me to my own personal issue with Lalaloopsies in general. I would give the dolls a 5 cause my daughter loves them and thinks they are cute but they should be called "Flopsyloopsie". They are designed to be hard plastic rag dolls so if you try to make them stand, they fall to the floor instantly.
