About the Sew Cute Patient Doll
The Stumbles Bumps 'n' Bruises Sew Cute Patient doll features an adorable round face, button eyes, and a personality all her own. Created from the cloth of a nurse's dress, she's a little clumsy but always a good patient. Like all Lalaloopsy dolls and Loopsy Littles Dolls, she was once a rag doll who came to life just as her last stitches were sewn.
This doll comes with a pair of pajamas, a bathrobe, a bunny bedroom slipper, and a cast. Her outfit is removable, so she can take off her robe when it's time for bed, or her cast when her leg is healed.
Heal her Boo-Boos
This doll is coming down with a case of the sillies, so it's a good thing she has the tools to help her get better. Fill the included medicine bottle with hot water and soak the heart-shaped bandage to wipe away the bumps and bruises on her face. The marks--which have a color-change feature--will vanish when in contact with hot water.
Made of sturdy, easy-to-clean plastic, the doll will stand up to your child's vigorous play, though the manufacturer recommends limiting outdoor exposure to preserve the color-change feature, which can weaken with exposure to direct sunlight.
Feed Her and Check her Heartbeat for Silly Sounds
Monitor this doll's heartbeat using the included stethoscope. Place the stethoscope against her heart and press down to hear the fun sound effects--from croaking frogs and goofy whistles to a ticking clock. To feed her, put the sippy cup with "disappearing milk" up to her mouth and tilt. The liquid in the cup will appear to drain, offering a fun play detail that young kids will enjoy.
Pet Bear Doll with Detachable Features
This doll's pet bear could also use some TLC. Reassemble the bear's arms, legs, and ears to make him better and bring him back to life. He's constructed of durable plastic with a textured, knit-like surface.

There are a lot of pieces to keep together and it seems like we're always missing something and having to search for it.
The little bear isn't very durable. He falls apart all the time. It's annoying and very frustrating when you can't find a leg!
The doll does not "heal." The water goes into the medicine vial and then will supposedly remove her scars. Nothing happens. No fading. Nothing.
The doll is also remarkably heavy for her size. The head is huge and weighted. Definitely a weapon for a toddler. Or against a toddler.
But the little thing is adorable! The doll alone would have sufficed. The stethescope is also a plus. Very cute concept.
We will be purchasing a soft doll next time, like this: Lalaloopsy Soft Doll - Rosy Bumps 'N' Bruises.
My girls do love this doll though, and have forgotten all about the bear's existence and that there is the potential to cure little Rosy of her scars.
The entire package would make a great gift for a little girl, and comes with enough goodies and add-ons that it happily and independently entertained a five-year-old for the better part of an hour, with no other items. No small feat.
I deducted one star for the pull-apart nature of the bear (arms and legs detach), as I can see his little limbs getting lost pretty easily and the difficulty of getting the cast on and off the Lalaloopsy doll herself, which will require adult intervention for most under, I'd say, 7 or 8.
Other than that, the toy seems well-made, durable and can be wiped clean and, even with the caveat above, still has far fewer "easy to lose" parts than, say, a typical Polly Pocket or Barbie set, which can be a nightmare of fiddly little bits and bobs designed to be stepped on in the night.
Overall, this is a nice addition to a really adorable line of toys.
I would recommend for lalaloopsy fans/collectors.
To sum it up: very cute, if you can get it for under $20 and do not have reason to fear the parts will be swallowed! My next Lalaloopsy purchase is a big doll!
