Go ahead Lamar Campbell and Spirit Of Praise! I enjoy this album more, each time I listen to it. Hopefully, you'll get the exposure you deserve for this CD. Wake-up Christians! There's more to gospel music than Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond! Don't let your local stations box you in to just a few artists, when so many others are so deserving of notice. This CD is worthy of your support.

I think this was great project the best of all the one he has released. I think the marketing is poor on this artist. They truely were heading to another level of worship with this piece.

I first chanced upon this talented brother and his amazing choir when they performed at this years Stellar Awards show.I was hooked,so I went and bought the debut album and I play almost everyday since then.For a first time album,this choir comes off like this is second nature for them and Brother Lamar is one of the most talented songwriters as well as choir directors in black gospel music today.The very first cut I'M GOING THROUGH just the song to get you hyped up about the Lord.You will not be able to keep still on this song. The second track HE WON'T LET YOU DOWN is a lovely ballad and Sister Denise Clark is a powerhouse of rifts and vocals on this song.This sister could give Sister Karen Clark-Sheard a run for her money when it comes to some rifts!Lamar Campbell himself is a worthy singer as well as choir director; he carries the leads on the song THE LORD IS GONNA GIVE YOU REST and does a very admirable job.However, the song that I think everybody will most likely praise the Lord for is the song I REALLY AM GRATEFUL.This is one of the most heartfelt,emotional and brilliantly sung gospel songs and should be considered a classic if it isn't already!The lead vocals are sung by Reverend Maurice Jackson who just tears it up.You will definitely shed a tear or two off this song.All and All this is the best debut album from a choir and they will definitely be around for a long time to come.Definitely worth your money and you will be blessed.

This recording was one of the best choral groups I have heard in a long time. The diction is so clear. The message depicted in each song is a daily source of inspiration. May God continue to use and bless this group with their ministry. Truly they are God's annointed.

LAMAR CAMPBELL AND SPIRIT OF PRAISE BLESS MY LIFE EVERY DAY. I REALLY LIKE "HE WON'T LET YOU DOWN", THE WORDS ARE SO TRUE AND THE CHIOR REALLY MAKES YOU BELIVE IT. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND CD. LAMAR AND SOP- LET THE ANOINTING FALL!!
