We were looking for something to keep our newborn entertained while in the carseat. this did the trick. it doesn't dangle which is nice and she loves looking at all the different colors. We make it squeek for her and talk to her like a puppet and she really seems to enjoy the time in the car.

I'm a new mom again after 10 years. I have discovered the Lamaze toys and I have fallen in love with them. They did not have anything like this for my son and daughter 10-15 years ago. I find the toys are soft and very colorful. My new daughter seems to enjoy these toys even though she is 10 weeks old. She follows the inchworm when we move it around. We bought the inchworm first and then went and bought a few more Lamaze toys for her; the soft sorter, a little crab, a little turtle tucker (play & grow), and the clutch cube. I looking forward to buying lots more for her. I like the toys because there are not any little parts that can fall off or be pulled off for my baby to choke on. I like the sounds and the noises that each toy makes I find that it is stimulating for my daughter. Honestly I like these toys myself. I rate the Lamaze toys 5 stars for each toy because each toy is unique and stimulates the five senses all during the babie's developemental period which is very important.

We were given this as a gift when my daughter was born and thought it would be lots of fun for her at some point. However, she's 9 months now and it has never interested her much. She can't make the squeak in the mouth work by herself, and it's awkward to shake the rattle in the middle and in the tail. I saw a cute picture in a magazine with a baby rolling around with it, but my baby hasn't found anything that exciting about it.

My son's favorite,

This is a wonderful first toy. We received it as a birth + age appropriate toy and we opened it as soon as my son came home from the hospital. Each segment of the inchworm has a different texture inside which caught his attention early. He loves to touch the segments that are filled with crinkle paper and laughs every time he hears the different rattle sounds. He is now 6 months old and he is still very interested in this toy. It would make a wonderful addition to any newborn's toybox!

Lamaze Inchworm,

Our twins love the inchworm. When they were newborns, we put it on the back of the couch so when we were burping them they would have something look at it. They loved it. Plus, it was long enough that an adult could hold each baby and burp them and they could still see their beloved inchworm. It was one of the first things they tried to reach for when they started pulling it off of the back of the couch. Now they are 21 months old and still love it -- although it has come down from the couch.

It's uses grow with the developmental stages of the child,

The Inchworm is a toy which has uses that grow with the developmental stages of an infant. The bright, contrasting patterns really held our baby's interest as she learned to focus. Now that she is somewhat older, she loves to hold the inchworm, rattle it, and roll with it. She also and stare at it's face. Basically, the worm has become her best friend. They shop together, bath together, go to school and movies together, go out on dates together, eat together and, believe it or not, go to the bathroom together. We have even had to resort to getting the little green worm diapers so that our daughter can change it when she needs changing. She feels that the worm will be left out if they aren't changed together - three times a night

So far, my baby's favorite toy!,

Jenna's only two months old, so I can't predict how long this toy will last, but for mow, she loves it! She stares at all the different patterns and loves when we make it squeak. She smiles and luaghs when we help the inchworm give her "kisses." I think this is a great toy, for its bright colors and patterns, for its great sounds, and for its ability to hold a baby's attention.

This has been our daughter's favorite toy since day 1. Shae has spent hours staring at it. She is now 8 months old and loves chew on the strings and make it rattle. She still enjoys looking at its striving visual patterns. She has formed quite an attachment to her inch worm.

My wife and I both liked this when we saw it at store X. We went back on several trips to get it and could never find it. Finally, desperate to get it for our 4 month old, we ordered it from this site. Well...Andy loves it. He likes to look at it, hold it, hug it, sleep with it. What else can you say? Buy baby toy. Baby loves toy. Other parents should buy their baby same toy. Seems pretty simple to me.

Although durable and eye-catching, our daughter actually cried when we first put it in her crib. She will now chew on its tail if we give it to her, but she isn't impressed by the sounds that it makes and she definitely doesn't seek it out when she plays. In our opinion, not in the same class as other Lamaze toys.
