Why didn't someone think of this before? These stacking rings have all the benefits of the classic hard wooden or plastic rings--they teach hand-eye coordination, sizes, colors, shapes, and creative play--but they're soft, and each one hides a secret rattle or squeaker. As baby learns to get the rings on and off the base and stack them in different combinations, he or she will gain confidence and coordination. And instead of just one color per ring, each ring is made from a bright patterned fabric, as is the foam-core base. It's all very chewable, and, of course, machine-washable. The soft rings make great baby-bracelets and anklets (quite an ensemble when worn with the
Lamaze Foot Finders). Included in the packaging is a booklet about infant development and creative ideas on how to use the toy, as well as a U.S. lifetime warranty. Winner of the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Special Needs Adaptable Product (SNAP) Award.

Editorial Review
Once again, the toy designers at Lamaze Infant Development have done what they do best. They've taken a classic baby toy, stacking rings, and have graced it with their loving touch. It's perfect for infants ages 6 months to 1 year, who--like all children--learn by doing. Babies find that placing these inviting rings over the 10-inch peg is a satisfying pastime. Because the whole system is covered in soft fiber-filled fabric, the parts are easy for babies to grip and are comfy to chew. Bells inside three of the rings make them fun to rattle. Bright fabrics in highly contrasting prints stimulate visual development. All pieces are machine washable.
