Lamaze Early Development Toy, Olivia the Owl

I love owls and I love Olivia. I bought this for my son before he was born and started giving it to him around 2 1/2 months old. He loves the owl. I can hand this to him and he will play with it or I have strapped it to his stroller for on the go trips and hung it from his play gym. He consistant goes to this toy and it is in his top 3 favorite small toys. Colors are great, very true to image. The dangling green leaf is a teether, it also has a dangling mirror. He will grab any of the dangling items but most often when reaching up for it grabs onto the branch the owl sits on. I like that it has multiple areas for his grasp.

Very cute toy, it's hard to find owl stuff in the stores, so was happy to find it on Amazon for a decent price. Lots of stuff to catch baby's attention, crinkle, squeek, rattle, mirror. A little bigger than I was expecting, but definately happy with purchase.

The Olivia the Owl Lamaze toy is absolutely adorable! My son who is just 3 months old loves her! She has lots of interesting things to touch and make noise, and Olivia herself has a rattle inside! My favorite Lamaze toy out of the 6 he owns :)

I love owls, so my son needed this. Thankfully he also loves it. He has been hanging out with it in his stroller since he was 2 months old (he's now 8 months old) and still loves it. He chews on the mirror, rather than the leaf, and shakes it violently with a grin on his face to hear the bells. He hasn't figured out the squeaky blue part yet, but loves to hear us squeak it for him. He has grown tired of all other toys he has travelled with, except for this one. It says "surface clean only" but I put it through the wash with clothes and towels and air-dried it and it came out fine. We also have Captain Calamari, but our son still prefers this one.

Very displeased! They sent me the peacock instead of the owl. And the peacock even had the olivia the owl tag on it!

We've been so pleased with how our baby has responded to Olivia the owl. He shows genuine interest and it sustains his attention for 3-4 minutes at a time. When we shake it to make it ring, he will smile.
Very cute toy.

My son loves owls. So I ordered this for him to play with. He loves it. Great learning with this toy. I have one that is made from this line of toys and my older son loved it. Great price.

My 2.5 month old daughter used this toy constantly to grasp... its attractive and long enough. teh colors are nice and its a tall toy...

Olivia is larger than expected as other reviewers have mentioned, but the size is ideal to hang from the carseat because baby can actually reach the toy and it dangles in front of baby's face. My son is 5.5 months and he enjoys chewing on the teethers. Before Olivia came along, Jacque the Peacock was hanging from the carseat, but baby didn't have as much interest because Jacque didn't hang quite as low. Overall, nice toy for 4-6 month olds.

Baby is now 7 months and still loves Olivia and her teethers :P Great toy for 4+ months. And Olivia still is hanging from the carseat.

Olivia is possibly the cutest of the Lamaze animal toys. Just like Mortimer the Moose and Captain Calimari, Olivia has lots of bright colors, stimulating patterns, and multiple textures to keep little hands (and mouths) busy. The addition of the mirror makes this one even more fun than Mortimer, and I like the black and white patches, which are more stimulating for smaller infants. An altogether adorable little toy. Love it.
