My son has had this toy since he was 3 months and he is now 7 months and this is still his favorite! There is just to much to this toy. There are so many different colors and textures and sounds! His ears, trunk and the ends of his legs crinkle. He has a squeaker in his belly that always gets a laugh from my boy. One paw has a textured teether in the shape of a leaf and the other has 2 rings with different textures. There is a lots to touch and mouth. There is also a large clip at the top to make it easy to attach to car seats, bouncers, strollers, etc.

My son has loved this toy for 5 months now and I'm sure he will continue to love it for many more! I think it was plenty worth the $10 or $11 I spent on it! I would buy it again!

This guy, Eddie the Elephant is plush, chewable, resistant and goes everwhere! Baby loves Eddie. He definitely is a must have amongst all of the Lamaze Play and Grow toys! Guys like: Jacques the Peacock, Freddie the Firefly, Mortimer the Moose, Buzz the Bug and many others! Check him and the others out and enjoy! - Tony

We gave this to my son for Christmas when he was 3 months. He wasn't interested right away, but started to be around 4 months as he could hold it better and move it around to feel and mouth different parts of the elephant. This is the toy I reach for now when he's bored. It seems to entertain him the longest with different textures to feel and things to grab.

My son loves this elephant. It was the first toy that he would reach out and try to grab. The crinkly ears and feet are the best parts of this toy. As he has gotten older, he likes to chew on the rings and leaves. For quite a while I would not leave the house without this toy, as it was the only thing he would entertain himself with. We also have the Lamaze Dragonfly, but my son did not become interested in that one until about 2 months after he was playing with the elephant. The only complaint I have is that the top of Eddie's head is becoming slightly sun-faded from all of his trips outside of the house. For the amount of love my son has given this toy and the hours he's been entertained by him, I give this toy a full 5 stars and a full recommendation!

Bought this as a baby shower gift for a friend who's doing an elephant theme for her baby. The picture doesn't do justice to how adorable this is! I love the teether and all the crinkly things on the elephant. I think her baby is gonna love it and she was so thrilled when she saw it.

Some of our friends gave our son this toy before he was born, noting that the babies at their church's nursery LOVED it. My 5 month old son adores this! The ears, trunk, and all four feet make "crinkly" sounds and the leaf and rings are great fun to grab onto. He also seems to respond well to all the bright colors. As soon as he was 3 1/2 months old and started playing with toys, he loved this one. Plus, the clip on the top lets you attach it to bouncy seats, etc. I highly recommend it for smaller babies. It made a great gift for us and I plan to give one to other new parents!

My baby girl LOVES this toy. At 2 months old she smiled whenever she looked at it and she still does at 6 months. I bought her the bigger Eddie that plays music and she likes it just the same. They are both adorable. I ordered it for my step-sister's baby and I hope he likes it as much as his cousin does, which I'm sure he will!

My 3 month-old gets really bored with his toys so I ended up purchasing a lot of different toys to entertain him, and by far this was his favorite! He can stare at it for about an hour and still giggle and coo and be happy. He just loves it.
And I love it too because it is made with excellent material, the colors are great, bright and won't fade, and the price is great.

Eddie the Elephant matches and delivers on the product description. My son was most intrigued by the squeaker...it really enticed him into interacting with the toy. He liked the crinkle sound of the ears, hands, feet and nose. The attachments don't seem to hold much attraction for him but he is only a couple months old so as he grows and develops his motor skills, he may eventually find them more interesting.

I bought this one and the giraffe for my son and originally connected both of them to his playmat since it had additionally spaces to hook toys to. He would just have a staring contest with the elephant. I then moved it and connected it to his carseat for when we go places and he does nothing but play with it in the car or while we're walking around in a store. He is 4 months now and still loves to play with it. He loves the sounds of the crinkling that the ears make and his eyes always go huge with delight when you squeak it at him. I'm so glad I bought it for him.
